A well character driven plot is what readers find appealing in a book. And here mixed with mystery, this book definitely seems like a worth read.

We can judge a book based on the review given to the book. I usually find that when I read a good book, my rwviews also come out fairly good. Hillary seems to be an interesting character. You have painted enough picture for me to want to read this book. I will definitely be checking this book out for Hillary and her daughter. Thank you for the wonderful review!

It's great that this book stands on it own. Most of the time vacations don't turn out as expected. I can't wait to know what the dark secret is. Great review.

I am such an avid reader that I typically look for series so that I can just keep reading. It is great that this book can be standalone even thought it is part of a series. I can say from my previous readings that not many books in a series are able to stand alone without leaving the readers behind.

This book has finally appeared for me to review. I've seen it commented on many a time since I joined Online Book Club. I'm really looking forward to reading it, especially as the reviews are positive.

Like when a book in a series can stand on its own, and the characters and plot sound great, so I'll definitely be reading this book

I love the way the end of the book was wrapped up, even with a coming sequel.
The book has quite a handful of memorable characters and it is an advantage.
Definitely checking the book out.
Nice review.

Just finished reading this book earlier this week. I thought that it was a good book, but I found it had a very predictable ending. I enjoyed reading it though and am eager to read the other books in the series now.
