Issues from a person's past can haunt him or even deprive him of a good life if not resolved. People train their children like who they are unknown to them. So to have well-developed children, people should strive to leave the past in the past.

I like that though it is part if a series this book can be read as a standalone. As someone who loves mysteries, I am intrigued to know what secrets are unearthed.

When it comes to book series, I prefer to start in chronological order. The premise of this one sounds mysterious that I am going to start reading these series of books.

A well detailed review. I hope Hilary unravels hidden family history and finds her root without causing harm. Congratulations on BOTD

Though there are a lot of characters, this book seems to be well-written. With so many characters, the author has done a wonderful job of keeping the plot moving. Its stand alone quality appeals to me. Later, I'll check this one out. I appreciate your thorough analysis.

Today's book of the day, though the third in the series is standalone where the family's long dark secrets begin to surface. It's an exciting read with much attention to the characters' detail. Congrats to the Ghostwriter on being the #BOTD!

As I sampled the book I was drawn to continue reading it. It seems June Gillam is a very talented and creative writer keeping the Hillary series up with new twists in the plot. Your review is so well written. Congratulations on the BOTD!

Murder and secrets have a funny way of always being interconnected. From this review I can tell it will be interesting. It also shows family love, value and adventure. I wonder what the dark secret in the book is. Guess I will have to read it to find out. Thanks.

Don't you hate it when your honeymoon turns into a mystery investigation? Hillary and her new husband are caught up in solving a mystery involving her family and she must help clear their name. Hopefully, she can save the day. Thank you for your review.

I like that House of Eire can be read as a stand-alone even though it's part of a series. I like that the author paid attention to detail in terms of descriptions and character traits in the book. House of Eire has a great storyline that has elements of mystery. Congratulations on making book of the day!

I just bought this book. After reading the review, I can't wait to sit down and read it. It sounds like Hillary and Ed have a great relationship with a strong willed 7-year-old thrown into the mix. I'm curious as to what family secrets Hillary will be uncovering.
