The story resonated well with my liking. I like Ireland, as a country, aesthetically speaking.

After reading the sample, I was quite curious to find out what was the shady deal Seamus had made with Dermot. That part got me interested in the book. Your review was engaging and well-written.

This book's mystery sounds intriguing. I'm curious how Hillary's family secrets will have consequences.

You say in the review the book can be read as a stand alone novel, do you feel this adds or takes away from the experience?

The first paragraph of this review describing the book was quite confusing, but, the general review makes the book look interesting though I doubt I will be interested in reading it. Congrats either way on being BOTD.

Mysteries mostly make for excitement. I'm almost eager to know what Hilary finds out. It's good work by the author to carve the out this book uniquely despite being part of a series.
