I think it's a perfect title. The story is about time travel so the title is an absolute fit.

I think it is. It's very brief and catchy and other than having something to do with time, it makes you wonder what the book would be about and would make you want to find out. Being about time travel and physics, I'd say it's a great fit.

I can't think of a better one. I think if it were changed at all, it would've to be lengthened and would then lose its catchiness.

I like the title, Timewise. It's catchy and it fits the book well due to the addition of time travel in this book.

I think it's important to have a catchy title and book cover. From the title, you only get the sense that the book has something to do with time, but together with the cover, you can tell that it'll have something to do with science and the concept of time through a physics perspective. All in all, I would say it's a good title.

I think it is a good title. Picking the title for a book is so tricky. The author wants to hook the reader, but not give anything away. I always enjoy a title that I have to figure out as I read.

I think that the title gives just enough information to encourage a potential reader to read the synopsis and sample the book. The cover design adds to this buy clearly marking the book as science fiction. It is relevant to the story without being too obvious, which I appreciate. It instills the perfect amount of intrigue.
There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page
Of prancing poetry.
This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
That bears a human soul!

Of course there could be other viable titles the author could have chosen from. However, I think the present title is appropriate because it brings out the dimension of time travel to the story.

I really liked the title and it's cover. Ron is time travelling using concepts of physics. So the name of the book is appropriate.

The title was appealing. From it alone I expected a bit of time traveler but was disappointed that it was only Ron's journey of discovery and the concepts of time and sap e as a scientific theory. I think the title could have been better, for sure.

I thought the title was perfect. Throughout the book the author plays with the concept of time and how important it is. The definition of Timewise comes down to with respect to time. I thought there was a little word played used here also as throughout the story Ron becomes more wise about time itself.

I agree this is a perfect title for this novel. From the story line having to deal with physics, even the aspects where Ron assisted Regina in building a time machine. So to me, timewise seems to be the perfect title for this book.

Timewise is a pretty good title considering the way time is explored in the book. But I thought it is more about Ron's adventures through life than that particular topic because the book also speaks about the time before and after when he collaborates with Reginal to work on the time machine. So might not be the perfect title but still good enough.

I think the title is just fine as the core focus of the story is time. Though I understand your perception of it to be different, but I think the title serves some mystery to those who didn't read the book and lets them gradually unfold the plot. Thus, I don't think the title is inappropriate in any way.

Joseph_ngaruiya wrote: 31 Oct 2020, 23:55 When I first came across the book, I thought it was addressing how time affected our daily lives. The cover art also portrayed the scientific concept of time. But after reading the book, I believe the author could have chosen a different title to entice the reader. Ron is on a journey to find out who he is and what he is capable of doing. Did you find Timewise to be appropriate, or do you have other suggestions for a better title?
I guess Timewise is a good title for this read as the climax of the story dealt with the concept of future prediction through the use of quantum physics. The title also goes well with the illustration on the cover page.
The disappearance of the word "I am" is indeed the highest happiness! :)
