I agree with this. I think Ron learned different things from each relationship. He learned to value nature and look closely at things from Cheryl. He learned the business world from Sheila.houligan19 wrote: ↑03 Nov 2020, 21:27 I did not feel that his relationships were too much or detracted from the character. It is pretty normal to have multiple relationships through life, and I thought that the way they added to his character was very interesting. I especially liked Cheryl and the lessons she taught him.

I think that when someone runs from one relationship to another they feel that they are very insecure and need the other person to make them complete. I am not sure that the relationships brought out the best in him, but I believe he felt that the relationships made him complete. I also think you only grow when you spend time alone evaluating who you really are and moving from relationship to relationship is unfair to both parties.maiiii_maii wrote: ↑02 Nov 2020, 20:59 In the story, Ron has one relationship after the other. On my part, it dampened my interest in the story. I don't think one needs multiple relationships in order to bring out the best in him. What do you guys think?

I feel the same way. This was definitely not Ron's best quality. He's quite so..fickle? I'm a huge romantic so this quality of Ron was a total no-no for me, personally.maiiii_maii wrote: ↑02 Nov 2020, 20:59 In the story, Ron has one relationship after the other. I loved Cherly, as well. She is amazing.houligan19 wrote: ↑03 Nov 2020, 21:27 I did not feel that his relationships were too much or detracted from the character. You an I, tonight!
You may forget the warmth he gave,
I will forget the light.
When you have done, pray tell me
That I my thoughts may dim;
Haste! lest while you're lagging.
I may remember him!
