I liked Regina, she seemed grounded in knowledge, caring and patient with Ron. She also seemed to maintain charisma and attraction and youth throughout the book. In the beginning, she was in her late 30s and the end, in her mid-fifties, yet described as youthful and Ron remains attracted to her. I admire these kinds of characters that challenge our very narrow perceptions and attitudes to age

Cheryl was my favorite character. She is strong-willed and very interesting, I would say. Too pity her part wasn't too big in the book, but she's a character to remember for sure.

I also like Regina a lot. I like how she's fast when it comes to decision-making especially in terms of Devries' constant pursuit of her, and being able to discover something that she protects so much to not be on the wrong hands.

My favorite character is Regina. She is not a geek but a brilliant woman. She had extraordinary and unheard physics theories and was a smart businesswoman in construction as well. How the author showed that a person could excel in any field no matter their background left me wondering.

My favourite character was definitely Ron because of the simple honesty of heart he showed to the persons in his life. He learned something from almost everyone with whom he interacted and the sense of loyalty he showed to his mentor when she needed him was very admirable. Ron was earnest and tolerant in his relationships. These qualities endeared me to him more than any other character in the book.

I thought Sheila was the only true authentic character in the book. However, I wouldn’t necessarily say that I had any favorites. I had a difficult time connecting with most of the characters in this book.

Regina is my favorite character by far! I love how smart she is, how she cared for Ron and taught him so much.

My favorite character is actually Sheila Park. Am I the only one here who loves her character? I love that she is ambitious and the fact that she is honest with her feelings.

My favorite character was Sheila. I liked how intelligent and ambitious she was. She may not have had as much of an impact on Ron's life as Regina did, but she certainly made an impression.

My favourite character has to be Ron himself. Perhaps my pick is because of the bias that he's the main character, but, it's just too difficult to not be enthralled by a character that grows up, developing and maturing right before your eyes in exquisite penmanship.

The other characters are simply not fleshed out in any comparable way. Ron, actually, is one of the most organic characters I've ever had the pleasure of reading about.

There was so much to love in all the characters. My personal favorite though was Regina because she conquers fear to stand up for herself and what she believes in. She is simultaneously compassionate, intelligent, motivated and strong. She is the perfect mentor for Ron and her insight gives her the capacity to continue mentoring through bouts of disdain from him.

My favorite character is Louis. I loved how he lived in an underground world where many people never dared to enter. I think he's Ron's most interesting friend.

Regina, absolutely. I love her cleverness, simplicity, and passion for science. She is a strong female character but at the same time feminine and gentle. Love her!

I really liked Regina but my favourite character has to be Cheryl. I just liked how solid she was, no frills or anything.

My favorite character was Regina. I liked everything about her. Her personality and beauty will be the first I would like that mention. How many 28-year-old adults can appear beautiful to 14-year-old kids? The second was her passion for her work. She was not only following her passion but was able to create a significant breakthrough in her field. The third was her humble nature. The way she help Ron financially and mentor him touched my heart.
