To be honest, it was a little confusing at first. However, it does eventually come together and add value to the bigger picture. I think if we were only shown Lady Sougyon's perspective, it would have been a very narrow and limited view of the whole situation. Especially since she doesn't partake in other social or political activities.

I think it was effective for the story being told. It provided a broader perspective of the story being told.
