George Orwell

Do you consider George Orwell a classical writer since he wrote Animal Farm and 1984 which are considered classics today..but the other point can be that these works were ahead of their times..so was he a modern writer? Discuss...

Animal farm is the most popular books he wrote. I don't think he has written any modern book. He is an author of classical Era.

Yes I agree he is a classical writer. Both his writing are consistantly relevant after all these years . That's a timeless art and yes it would be subjective of me to say he is a great writer with a prophetic outlook on life and that's what makes him ahead of his time.
