War and Peace

Post by Rachaelamb1 »

I have been reading War and Peace off and on for about a year now. I love it, I am completely in awe of Tolstoy's writing ability and yet I am having such difficulty finishing it. I think it is because I do not really understand the battles so those parts are hard for me to muscle through.
I love the characters though and am dying to know what happens to them so I think I will eventually finish.
Have you read War and Peace? What did you think of it? No spoiler's please!
