Barchester Chronicles anyone?

Post by mikesx50 »

Having recently heard a radio adaptation of "The Small House at Allington" I am currently reading the first book in the series, "The Warden". I am really enjoying this and Trollope's writing style. Any thoughts on this series anyone?

I'm a big fan of this series. The characters seem utterly real to me and Trollope's style is laid back and friendly. I was really sad when I finished the sixth one, but thankfully Trollope has over forty novels to his name so I haven't got through all of those yet!
