Jane Austen is my favorite classic writer. She won my heart with "Pride and Prejudice," but I ended up falling in love with "Persuasion." From there, I started reading other authors like Dickens and Gaskell. I love the dialogues in her books, the acidic way she sometimes has, and the misplaced humor she seems to have.

Pride and Prejudice is the only one of her works I have read. I think I have also read her sister's work.
