I really love the OZ series. I was given a hardback of all 15 stories in it a few years ago. Both the stories and the book have great sentimental value to me. It's always nice to see how some literature continues to create such a impact so many years later. That makes me smile.

As a kid, I loved everything to do with The Wizard of Oz. I have read the book multiple times and I have watched the 1939 multiple times too, it got to the point that my mom told me that she could quote the movie word for word because I would watch it several times a day. For me, it is very beloved and it inspired me to read and watch Return to Oz. Plus I have seen the more modern spinoffs as well.

Another one that is actually on my favourites. I love The Wizard of Oz. I have grown listening to tales of Dorothy and the various characters she met along the way when she was in Oz. I remember the movie, it was already so old that they rarely show it in our country. But this is still one of the best movies out there.

The wizard of Oz is a great classic and I think that anyone who has had the pleasure of reading it can agree. I feel that they don't make books like that anymore. Personally I've read it hundreds of times over the past few years.

My grandmother had the old set of hardcover books in her library. Her children had read them and by the time I saw them, they were on the fragile side. We were only allowed to read them at her house even though we were allowed to borrow any other books she had. Generally at Grandma's, there were other cousins to play with which took precedence over reading, but there were plenty of times that I spent hours pouring over this series. Now that she's passed, I was allowed to take ownership of these books and I look upon them fondly.

'the wonderful wizard of Oz' is a childhood classic series that will remain with me till forever. The vocabulary are painstakingly constructed with simple style that meets the need of every child and in fact all age groups.

I loved reading the wonderful wizard of oz, as a kid with my mother. Unfortunately I think I read it too young and it scared me for a number of years, so I guess reading it slightly older would of been better, but nevertheless it’s a great book!
