I remember reading this book. I used to feel sorry for Miss Havisham always wearing a wedding dress and never seeing the light because of being jilted on her wedding day. I didn't really like Estella because I thought that she was mean. I liked Pip.

What a great story full of intrigue, love, greed and loneliness. Dickens perfectly injects humor into a novel that has some tenebrous themes. A real must read.

I loved Pip's journey from poverty to wealth at the hands of a perfect stranger, a convict that he met on the marshes. His reaction to the truth of who his benefactor turned out to be is also amusing... It teaches the reader not to detach himself from his past no matter how shameful it could be. Your past contributes to the moulding of who you are today.

I have this book sitting with me too long now. I am not proud to say I started reading the book twice, but just couldn’t bring myself to finish it. Not because I didn’t enjoy the book, but just pushed it away in favour of other books. I definitely need to finish reading it soon.

Each character is motivated by so many different things and are interconnected to such an interesting manner.

I've been wanting to read this book for some time now. I even have a copy of it sitting on my shelf. I need to get on it ASAP. It sounds like a good book.

I read a sample of Great Expectations and I would like to read the whole book sometime in the future, as it is an intriguing book.

Charles Dickens also wrote many other wonderful classic books that have meaning, such as David Copperfield and Oliver Twist.

I'm currently reading it! It's wonderful how the story may even be applied to this era: Pip's ambitions, embarrassment concerning his origins and his redemption by the end of it all (I have watched the 2012 movie adaptation first and I'm aware of the fundamental dissimilarities) makes the story beyond enjoyable!

Great expectations is one of te best books. Many themes as social hierachy, Upwards mobilozation in the society, Poverty. Family, lobe, friendship and many themes are discussed in this book.

Great Expectations by Charles dickens is one of the best novels. it brings out the society of that era. it shows class discrimination of the era and the need of people to climb the social ladder.

Pip in the novel is a snobbish character and his transformation as a small innocent orphan to a young snobbish man is very interesting. the other characters as Estella, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gargery also plays a vital role in the novel.

the techniques, dialogues, characters, the settings of the story, imagery would keep the readers attached to the book. it is vey interesting and make the readers very curious from the first chapter itself.

This could be seen how Pip treats Joe Gargery when he visits Pip when he is in London.

the dialogues used by the author helps the readers to identify the characters well. these techniques have supported the author to bring out the themes such as discrimination, snobbishness, etc.
