Hi, I'm new to Tolstoy and classic literature in general. What the best translation for me and the easiest?
I own maude and Garnett but heard Briggs is good?

While I was working on a paper on Dostoevsky, one of the professors recommended a different translation. The couple he recommended did, according to google anyways, also translate War and Peace. Their names are Richard Pevear and Larissa Volokhonsky. I enjoyed their translation of Crime and Punishment.
