Little red riding hood

Post by Christie d »

Little Red Riding Hood retold by Gaby Goldsack is a wonderful retelling of the old telling of little red riding hood. The book is beautifully illustrated. A little girl that wears a red hood takes food to grandma's house on the way meets a wolf. Turns out the wolf was very hungry and knew which way the girl was heading. The wolf arrived first and gobbled up grandma. Than little red riding hood shows up and sees the wolf pretending to be grandma. This childrens book delight children of all ages. I give five stars out of five.

Love it . teaches children not to trust strangers. Even if they are family. Any one can hurt and take advantage. Lesson for kids to have insight what world is now days.

I see it as a children's book and for that criterium is good. It's classic that everyone knows.

Sometimes I wonder why do I always see children from different cultures captured by this story. It is nice, but what fascinated me is that ALL children love it.

I didn't read this book when I was a child. I really wish I had. It teaches a really good moral. Not everyone in your life has good intentions for you even if you are just a child, neither strangers and sometimes nor your family either. I really wish I had read this book and learnt the morale quiet earlier in my life. We should really encourage children to read this kind of stories. It might save them. That's the beauty of literature, isn't it?

It's a very lovely book I think it helps children to understand a little bit of how the world works in a way.
