Hello! I’ve just recently gotten into Jane Austen novels as well. So far I’ve read Pride and Prejudice, Emma, and am in the midst of Sense and Sensibility. I adored Pride and Prejudice! Emma was not a particular favorite. But I am enjoying Sense and Sensibility so far! I’ll have to look into Northanger Abbey, I haven’t heard of that one yet.

Pride and Prejudice will always be my favorite! I studied it in high school British Literature, and now I try to read it once a year. It’s one of the only classic books I’ve genuinely enjoyed.

Pride and Prejudice. I have 5 sets of it ( from various gifts over the years) and it is my absolute favorite. Anytime I am feeling down, just need to read about the Bennets.
It is likely that I like it so much as I identify with Lizzy.
I have a habit of looking up the adaptations too, indeed that is the only reason I have a Kindle unlimited subscription.

"EMMA," the fourth book by Jane Austen that was released in three volumes, was recommended to me by a coworker and quickly became my favorite. It's a comedy about love, a Shakespearean web of miscommunications and connections that's nicely wrapped up in the end.

Pride and Prejudice is the first novel I read by Jane Austen and so it has a place of nostalgia with me. It's my favorite, but I recently read Emma and deeply enjoyed it. I also watched the movie from 2020 with Anya Taylor Joy, and thought it was a fun and unique adaptation.

Pride and Prejudice without a doubt is her most popular book, but Emma and Sense and Sensibility are good too! There are also Jane Austen adaptations available these days - tales that have a modern setting, or a slightly different twist. Some of those may be worth a read too.

I have not read that many books by Jane Austen, but Emma is my favorite. I cannot understand the hype about Pride and Prejudice; maybe I do not like Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy's relationship.
