Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes

Post by rasalv7q »

This book I happened to hear about on TV one evening and then heard of it later in a conversation with another book lover so I decided to give it a try. I was very glad I did. This book gave a great insight into a the life of a man with a low IQ. giving the reader a better understanding of how this person or even others think and feel. I enjoyed it immensely. It also gave me insight into how a doctor who performs experiments on humans must feel when they are actually there to witness the changes drugs can have on people. A life not commonly thought of and yet so wonderfully told. I never got lost or had to go back to try to understand what was going on. I would read more from Daniel Keyes and I hope to enjoy that book just as much as this one.
