The Bostonians Henry James

I feel this book is a very real look at life for woman and a real focus of the human condition also a quite detailed look at the idea of a benefactoress and what that really means. The story is deep and you can really tell the author was interested in the subject for which he wrote. I believe it also brings up some of the more suppressing aspects of having a benefactoress as well and the way it was culminated and brought together while also giving you a feel for the time period and culture was absolutely perfect.
