Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens would be perfect. It isn't too long and still makes for an amazing read.

I know this topic has been up for a very long time, but I hope you're still looking for some good short classics. :) Just went through my classics shelf and here's what I've got: Robinson Crusoe, Hard Times by Charles Dickens, Frankenstein (which, despite seeming overrated is very underrated in my opinion, such a good book!), Treasure Island, Gulliver's Travels, and The Important of Being Earnest. They're all pretty short and all pretty good. My fave is either Hard Times or Frankenstein.

Jules Verne has some short books, actually they are like short stories, but sometimes they are printed separately, and he published them at different times. I really liked Master Zacharius, I recommend it to you. But he has others like A Drama in Mexico, and texts that you can read in a day. These are the books I recommend when someone needs to summarize a quick book for a homework assignment or something like that.

My favorite classics are by Jane Austen and her shortest books are Northanger Abbey with around 200 pages and Persuasion. In case you're looking for something even shorter I would recommend her unfinished works Lady Susan, Sanditon and The Watsons.
Animal Farm (around 120 pages) and 1984 (around 300) by George Orwell are great and short classics as well.
