Has anyone read these novels?
Five short novels that pack a giant punch. They are NOT easy reads, dealing with themes of sexual abuse and drug addiction. They chart the journey of Patrick Melrose as he experiences an abusive childhood, discovers the lows of drug addiction and moves into marriage and fatherhood. They are a really raw and honest account of important issues and I got so attached to Patrick despite the fact that he is not ways presented as a "good guy". The editions I have also have beautiful pastel-coloured covers.
