Are there any beloved or classic novels that you’ve read and just thought to yourself ‘why?’; books that seemingly everyone loves but you yourself don’t care for?

Jane Austen's 'Sense and Sensibility'
A very boring book. I did enjoy 'Pride and Prejudice', but this one wasn't really for me.
Most people I know love it. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Yes, Jane Eyre. I don't think anyone has been offended by my opinion, but I never got why it was so popular.

The Sun Also Rises is just not my favorite despite being one of Hemingway’s more popular works. I’ve read quite a few of his books and I hate to say it, but I just don’t vibe with his writing style. Not that it’s bad in any way, it’s just not the type of prose that pulls me in.
