I saw the movie Pride and Prejudice and read the book and saw the movie Jane Eyre. I would say Jane Eyre is more interesting because it has more symbolism and is dark.

Jane Eyre stands the test of time-
You can still relate to the characters up to this very day! looking forward to read more of a Charlotte Bronte.

Jane Eyre but not for the love story. Elizabeth and Darcy win there.

Jane Eyre is so much darker and I guess that's my preference. The Brontes are all the same way and I love it!

As a book, Jane Eyre. As a movie, Pride and Prejudice

Pride and Prejudice all the way! The book has so many perfect examples of different types of romantic relationships, and the enemies-to-lovers chemistry between Darcy and Elizabeth is unbeatable. There are so many layers to the interactions and motivations within each character. Additionally, it's timeless. The problems and frustrations in the book have become no less relevant today. For me, Pride and Prejudice stands as the unbeatable classic romance novel. :D

Pride and Prejudice over Jane Eyre any day. Jane Eyre can get boring at times. Pride and Prejudice is way entertaining.

I have read both Pride & Prejudice and Jane Eyre. Both are interesting and intriguing tales but on any day, anytime, and anywhere Pride and Prejudice is the best.Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy all the way.

I always go with Jane Eyre. I need to read Pride and Prejudice again to see if I will change my mind.

Jane Eyre wins. Charlotte Bronte is beyond talented with words and has a way of making the characters' emotions very raw and relatable. You also get very attached to the characters as you grow up with Jane and experience life with her. It was also very interesting to see how everyone was very nonchalant about calling Jane "plain" or "not a great beauty", and how she herself did not seemed that bothered by it. I'm not sure if it's because modern society has become more obsessed with looks or if it was solely Jane who didn't care much.

Pride and Prejudice always. Best of all Jane Austin books. Read it two times and watched all movies ever made.

I love both dearly but if I had to pit the two against each other: nothing can surpass the wit of Jane Austen in Pride and Prejudice.

My favorite is Pride and Prejudice. While I enjoyed Jane Eyre, I do not know the number of times I've read Pride and Prejudice, and I still want to read it again.

I have always loved Pride and Prejudice, but I have never been a big fan of Jane Eyre. I read Jane Eyre as a teenager, so maybe I need to give it another shot now that I'm older.

For me, it's Jane Eyre. I love the mysterious and gothic elements present in the book.
