Does anyone have more knowledge on what the Kabbalah is? I was curious about it since it is referenced several times in the book. I know what the Torah is, but beyond that, I am unfamiliar with Jewish traditions/writings. The author leaves a short definition in the book, but I am still left wondering more about what exactly the beliefs are, etc.

I'm afraid I don't know much about the Kabbalah but I do recall learning about it during my World Religions class in college. I remember that this kind of Judaic teaching focused on mysticism. Which is basically some sort of activity that will allow you to become closer or one with God. I think the best example I could provide would be meditation or chanting. I know that Judaism is very old and can be complicated to understand from an outsider's perspective especially as you learn more about Hasidism etc. I would be interested in knowing the differences and similarities myself!

I also don't have any idea about it. The funny thing is that I even don't know what Torah is. But I'm really glad I got to learn amazing things about The Bible through the book.

I can’t say I know much about that. Sorry. I do find some of the Jewish traditions to be interesting though.

I came across the word several times while reading, but was still confused about it. But I think has to do with a particular religion.

i have no idea of the Kabbalah before now. I just read about it for the first time in this book. I still would love to know more about it.

Though I didn't know much about this place or learn about it but I will get to know it better after reading this book.

Kabbalah is a Jewish tradition that interprets the Bible (Old testement) in mystical ways. It contains a vision on creation, relation between the human and God and a lot about the position of Jews in the world. It is not accepted by all Jewish sects but zionism is greatly affected by Kabbalistic views.

I couldn't figure out the meaning even after a quick google search and the definitions in the book. Your ost means I'll have to do some research on the topic and hopefully comprehend it.

Before this, I had no knowledge of the Kabbalah. In this book, I simply learned about it for the first time. I'm still interested in learning more about it.

I really don't know much about it. However, for the author to include it, it must be something imortant.

I have discovered the following website to be quite beneficial for learning about Jewish themes as a Christian. However, I do find a few Jewish practices to be fascinating.

I vame across it while reading but I'm yet to understand the meaning and importance.
