I was more interested in the book's second portion because I liked the concept of being unemployed and thinking there is nothing else to do, then discovering motivation and actual time to think about yourself.

My favorite part of the book was the marathon. I liked what she said about running side by side with someone for a while and then moving on. I also liked all the support the bystanders offered and the fanfare of the people who ran part way just to be a part of things.

The first section is my favourite. It was inspiring and interesting at the same time. Without an interesting first section, I may lose interest in the book and stop reading it. How the author got my attention from the title and first section is really amazing.

I really like the first chapter because it inspiring. Especially when the author uses marathon as an analogy for her experience in her life.
