I believe the author chose a writing style that worked best for a unique book that blends autobiography and self-help. The infusion of humor made for an engaging read.

There's a Rooster in My Bathroom by Trish Ostroski was an exceptionally fun read. I loved the easy tone she used and that it was a self-help book. The style was easy and although not chronologically written, it served its purpose.

I would prefer a sequencial order to be followed by an author while writing an autobiography. However writing style of the author is pretty good. I like the way she used the stories to describe her life. All in all everything seems to be fine.

Trish Ostroski's style was very relaxed for a wellness book, which I appreciated. It's the first I encountered this fun style of writing in the genre. Most other books are too serious, this one was an exception and a delight.

Honestly, I would have preferred if the book had more order to it. I feel like the author's writing style was distracting. It made my reading experience less enjoyable.

Similar feeling. I think the writing is very casual which is not necessarily bad. But the author seems to jump back and forth. I did not see a clear order of the writing.

I like the author's writing style. Her adding various events from her life made the book interesting and entertaining, not missing the humour aspect of it.

I find the writing very interesting, books of this genre are not interesting to read. The author did a nice job in catching the attention of his readers

The book was very interesting as the writing kept on jumping from one scene to another. It was something that made me follow the book more closely. With it's humour and lessons, it made a good read for me.

I loved the writing style very much. I liked how the author used own experiences in this book, and I loved some quotations as well.

I'm looking critically at the writing style. The tone is different, as many others have said. It's conversational so far. I'm only a few pages in, so I'm still getting a sense of both whether I like the tone and what the tone of the work is. It does seem not linear, and I would expect something more serious since the book is a memoir, but the current more conversational style has a more approachable feel. It's a quicker, less academic read so far.

I enjoyed the breadth of the author's experiences and quotes included at the end of the chapters. I also didn't mind that she jumped around in time. However, I did feel that transitions would have helped add a better flow.

I did like the book. The author's writing style was a very fun way of telling her story and helping others relate their own experiences to hers. The book was amusing and easy to read.

I prefer the writing style to be a more orderly autobiography. It can make me lost track of what happened before and has to fill the blank between the stories.

I loved her writing style. She kept the tone fun and exciting. She kept you wondering what was coming next, instead of almost knowing what would be the next topic, as with many other self-help books.

I feel she wrote in this style to mimic real life. Life is not cut and dry. There’s lots of twists and turns and unknowns. Nothing is really organized perfectly in life. You always have things getting messed up!! But even with all the fun and humor, she got her ideas and points across quite well.
