No, he hasn't. God is the one that empowers us to dream. If our dreams align with that of our siblings, it doesn't mean it's not ours and that it will fail.

I don't think there is any contradiction there. In essence, the author was trying to convey that all of us can dream. What the author was talking about in the book was finding that dream and pursuing it with tenacity.

The author is right but what I would have preferred he said what was to “pursue our God-given dream”. GOD is the author of all.

I do not see the contradiction in the statements, especially if you look at it from the perspective of God being divine and all-knowing. He guides our dreams, but we have to play our part in making them come true.

I don't think it's a contradiction. I think everyone one had the right to dream and God himself have given us the chance. The ability for us to focus on the dream is where the problem lies.

I don’t think it a contradiction within a certain belief of thinking. I think God inspires dreams and directs dreams but it is still a personal pursuit that must that place to follow dreams.

That is not a contradiction, in my opinion. I believe the author meant that as dreams are also an expression of our free will, God grants us the right to dream. so that we can pursue our goals while staying on God's path.

Not at all. The author believes that what God wants us to do should be our dream too. So God gives us the opportunity to dream and in case we want to maneuver the dream, he reminds us again.

In some way, I think he didn't contradict himself. God created us for a purpose which we must fulfill, and in the process of fulfilling that purpose, we develop our own dreams too, which we pursue.

God has given us the freedom to dream, and to dream as big as we desire, in my opinion. Whatever we choose to do with our dreams is entirely up to us. The author has not, in my opinion, contradicted himself by expressing his personal views.

I think that at any moment when someone combines normal logic with the scriptures they immediately breed a contradiction. There's no way we can chase our own dreams yet at the same time hope they are God given.

I believe that God has given us the ability to dream. What we do with our dreams is entirely up to us. I don't think the author contradicted himself by sharing his own beliefs.

I don't the author contradicted himself. God is the giver of all dreams. Our Parents, mentors, firends, and personal dreams are inclusive, all dreams come from him in different from. So, the ability to have that dream is his own part, our part is to judiciously pursue the dream.

I interpreted that message to mean the God created us to dream. We are then able to dream how we desire. As long as we dream. So we should dream as God intended for us, but we have the freedom to make our own path.

I don't think the author contradicted himself; he was only trying to say that all dreams are created by God and placed in humans to achieve them, but we have the choice to fulfill them if we push towards them or fold our hands and let them pass.
