What works is preferred by people. As a result, people imitate certain behaviors in the hope that they would be successful. Humans learn languages, for instance, by "copycatting"; as this is a universal truth, we all engage in it at various times during our lives. However, the author failed to highlight that our creative sides of the brains enable us to be distinctive. I typically agree more often than not.

I agree that what he says makes a lot of sense. I also agree that we do all have something unique to bring to the table, but I also think other people's ideas can distract us from our own. We can find ourselves playing the comparison game, getting distracted, instead of focusing on our own dreams. Thank you for sharing your perspective.
