My opinion is a bit skewed as I come from a healthcare background so the terms the author used throughout the book were very familiar to me. That being said, with the author’s intent to educate, I believe the usage of medical terminology was appropriate however the terms that are not well known should have had an easy to understand reference in parentheses next to the word (at least with the first usage of the word).

This was my only negative aspect of this book. I felt lost when I encountered the medical margins. It would have been more appropriate if the author had put a footnote about the medical terms.

This was my only dislike of this book. I was lost at some point. It will be more appropriate if the author had written the meaning of each medical term at the end of each page.

For me, including medical terms is for general public to which the information could be useful for is not unnecessary but it's important to be included. Readers that needs to be aware of the cancer treatment procedure will have the privilege to research and know more on the technical terms to help them more. knowing new things is not a crime, it helps

The medical jargon in the book didn't bother me, as I felt the author was trying to share as much helpful information as possible.

Well, I enjoyed it and at the same time, I disliked it. The author did not provide meaning to this medical jargon which was a major concern for me.

I personally thought that there was a disconnect between the terms that were used and the explanations (or lack thereof) used to describe them. Most of the terminology was fairly easy to follow, but sometimes, the author didn’t fully describe what the term was. A more thorough description would have been beneficial for readers who don’t have prior knowledge of the subject matter.

I didn't have a problem with that, I believe it can be educational.

It wasn't appealing to me. This book is meant to be a handy health manual for the general consumption of everybody who needs better health. The use of medical jargon limits the audience of this book.

When someone like her in the medical profession couldn't foresee health expenses, general citizens can take her example and be prepared. The author's decision to go into immunotherapy as a preventive measure shows her strong will to fight till the end.

I like the authors creative way of explaining the medical terms so that everyone can understand and put the knowledge to good use.

I admire the author's idea since it might inform people who aren't doctors about the truth regarding cancer. Actually, it's pretty fascinating since some people can identify with her tale, and the usage of medical language, particularly since it occurs early in the novel, can contribute to the attractiveness of the book as a whole. For society, this woman serves as a positive role model.

I don't think it is necessary since not every reader ventures into the medical field. Reading the medical journey at some point created confusion in the novel and made me sort the internet for more info.

I did not find anything wrong with the medical content because when we get to be faced with the same problem we would relate more. And it also help us to know in advance the right processes and procedures to undergo if we meet up with the same situation in the future.
