Pictures at the end or in context?

I, too would have preferred the pictures to be present along with the story rather than at the back. All the picture crammed together atlast kind of intrupt the flow of the book.

I would definitely prefer any graphic to be with the text. I don't know if I'd feel differently if it were a hard copy as opposed to an e-reader (flipping back and forth between pages) but I usually prefer to see what the author is writing about as I'm reading.

I also prefer the pictures being placed within the pages of the story instead of on the last few pages as it can help the readers to better understand the story.

No, I do not prefer the way she added the pictures at the end of the book. I would have loved it if she added the picture to the text which will make it more understandable for readers.

The picture at the pages would make you have pictorial representation, but if it were at the end you might have a hard time recalling, and it won't make sense as it would have.

I agree with you and would have liked the pictures placed next to her personal stories. I liked the book and her perspective on healthcare. She talked about her family and her cancer diagnosis and it would have been nice to see pictures next to them.

I agree with you because I felt like the author should put the pictures at the part of the story and not at the end, even though it doesn't look so bad at the end of the book too.

I enjoyed having the photos at the end, and especially liked seeing the ones of her father's home office. I found them to be a nice surprise when I got to the end of the book.

Great question! Though I was not offended by the way the author choose to pack pictures at the end of the book. I think it is another style to include pictures, either as a visual summary of the book or as a presentation of evidence immediately at the point of written explanation.

I will even say I love it better to see those pictures at the end of the book. probably because this style comes newly since I've not come across the style in a while

I am satisfied with the author's inclusion of pictures at the end of the book. Though, there are generally two styles, pictures within pages and pictures at the end. Either of the two ways can be employ. But the important thing coming up with a uniqueness about your chosen style. Like Dr. Aregis with her book she uses inclusion of pictures at the end of the book to summarize the content, and that is one uniqueness

Yeah I agree with you on this. The pictures are the end of the book was off for me. I guess the author had a reason why she had done it that way.

I did not expect any picture at the end of this book anyways but i would have preferred and loved it more if the pictures where contained within the pages of this book rather than at the end.

I think it was great way to tie up the ending. The various images force you to recall events described in the book (kind of like a recap), and the visual element delivers an extra touch of emotion that feels fitting to send us off to pursue our own journeys with healthcare.
