I enjoyed the story of the authors personal experiences. It made the book more interesting and also captures the readers attention.

This was they author way to express her heart and I believe it should be respected. I loved the dual theme and at the end to all related to what the core of this book.

I did find the author's explanations very valid and needed. The author mixed her memoir and need-to-know information perfectly well.

I thought that the author's own experience gave context to her ideas and claims. Her history provides more proof of the "unique perspective" she refers to in the book's subtitle. She had connections before she even started working in the medical field.

The author including her personal experiences made the content of this book so engaging and it linked very well with the rest of the story in this book. It showed how creative the author was with her writing. IT also gave readers the privilege to see the two sides of this book as the author was both medically inclined and also a patient.

I think that the author did a right thing with her story. She connected her illness and problems with today's healthcare and insurace. I like that comparison

Reading about the author's backstory was a delightful experience for me, as it made the book more captivating. She gained valuable insights by observing her parents, and these insights greatly influenced her professional life. I believe that experience is the best teacher, and the lessons that the author learned from her life experiences are some of the most important ones.
