I liked the descriptions. The extra details set the scene for my imagination. I was able to visualise the author's creative world and the scenes the characters interacted with. For me, the descriptions are a plus.

I think details are important, especially for the worllines so we could see there are only slight differences. However, I usually don't like too many details that don't seem to move the plot further. When I got to those parts I read a bit faster to get over them quicker.

I do not think the descriptions went too far. The in-scene details create helped me engage with the story b creating a mental image. I think the descriptions add to the story.

I agree with you. I do not appreciate excessive background details that do not contribute to the plot development or characterisation. The details distract from the story and became background static.

I may have to disagree with you on this one. I think that in such a book where multiverses and parallel worlds are described, detailed scenery and plot description is necessary- even if it seems too much. Because it is very easy to get the readers lost or confused about the plot in such a book.

I liked the descriptive details. The author uses them to create an image of the planet and scene. The details might not have moved the storyline forward but they helped me imagine and engage with the author's imagined world.

I have no issues with the overwhelming background description. This usually gives me a vivid picture of what s happening in the book or the place setting of the book.

I couldn't agree with you more because I am too feel like the author should be focused on the storyline instead of just describing things that didn't move the story forward., so I feel distracting about the author's way.

I respectfully disagree with you. While reading the book, those background information actually helped me understand the story a little better. I did not find it distracting.

I think the descriptions were lengthy and generic that I lost focus on what the author was trying to accomplish. It actually took away for me in the settings aspect of the book.
Today's me is better than yesterday's me.

I like a well-developed book as well as a well described scenes. It gives me that magnetic imagination when reading a book. So, I appreciate the background information; I did not find it distracting at all.
