explicit scenes?

Post by fridamadrid »

do you think there are any explicit scenes in the book? I found some cursing and mentions of bdsm and stuff but I didn't think they were explicit. Nothing was ever described, just mentioned. What do you think about this?

There were no explicit scenes for me. There was maybe an instance where there were romantic gestures but nothing explicit. I recall the descriptions of Michelle and Gary's trip. I think the description gave a little romantic element to the book.

I agree. There was mention of Sinead’s concerns about the choking, and of course you knew characters were having sex, but there were no detailed descriptions.

No such explicit scenes. The romantic scenes are only vaguely discussed and there is only one mention of 'BDSM'. Other than that, nothing extreme.

I share the same view. They were rather vague, you knew sex was happening, for instance but it was not extreme enough to qualify as explicit in my opinion.

I don’t think anything was explicitly described. The times where it was mentioned made me think, but I had to use my imagination. I’ve read books where I wasn’t given the chance.

No, I didn't find any explicit scenes. Yes, there were mentions of choking which suggests that the characters were having sex but then the lack of description of the scene means that they cannot be considered explicit.

I didn't find any explicit sexual scenes. There was some conversation about bdsm, but it was not explicit. There were other scenes where sex was only implied.

I hardly found sexual explicity.
Though there it discussed BDSM, but I didn't find it explicit.

No id dont think there were any explicitly sexual scenes in the book. The book was basically focused more on the romance of it all rather than the real down and dirty.

Of course, I neglected to mention Sinead and her sexual experiences with Marcus, although despite the mentions of chocking and a bit of BDSM there wasn't any overall explicitness.

I didn't find it overly descriptive or explicit. Of course, sex was alluded to, but I don't think it was over the top. Most of what I read had more of a romantic feel.

To me, there are no explicit scenes in the book. It's just a random mentioning of stuff like BDSM. Which to me, it's normal during discussion. Not even the kissing part... Which is just blowing of kisses...

There's only mention of touching in the shower between Michelle and Gary. Aside from that, there is mention of Sinead disliking her Marcus' kinks. But it's all just mentioned, never described beyond a few sentences. If anything, the most explicit thing in the book is Michelle's murder.

No explicit scenes in the book, apart from the mention of BDSM and some vaguely described romantic scenes.
