I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.Princess Clara wrote: ↑28 Sep 2018, 22:33 I love religious fiction. However, I'm concerned about the pages. Reading six hundred page novel is one hell of a task. I'll give the novel a try because of my love for historical fictions.

That's why I find this very interesting:" I think the most important part is the emphasis on the admirable resilience of the Bosnian people as they fought for independence again and again..."
Is there are such a thing as Bosnian people? They never fought for an independence together. At least not since the Ottomans took over. They were hostile to each other ever since.

You're welcome. It's a good book.Isaiah Lokeno wrote: ↑29 Sep 2018, 06:26 As a lover of history I think this is the best chance to know the history of Bosnia though the date and the chronology in which the events occur seems to be hard to know.I will really enjoy the chapter where religion and its freedom is seen. Thanks for a good review

According to this history book, the Bosnians didtwenty7 wrote: ↑29 Sep 2018, 09:14 I like your review but 600 pages are too much for such a small country. Since I read "London for immigrant suckers; So long Yugoslavia" I became interested in the history of that region. I traveled through Croatia and spent a few days in Bosnia. I started seeing a girl from Bosnia, who left Bosnia in 2000. She never say that she is Bosnian, she says that she is Croatian. Her parents were born in Bosnia but they are the same. I also know some Serbs from Bosnia but they don't call themselves Bosnian either. They say that they used to before this war, but not any more.
