The view was beautiful. Rachel’s apartment home was on a peninsula on Galway Bay. Unfortunately, the sounds from the harbor made sleep difficult. Author Marie Helena shares her unique perspective on living a peaceful life in The Night Blooming Jasmine in Your Heart (Mystic Marks Book 1.)
Marie Helena has discovered many ways to live a joyful life by analyzing her personal experiences. Her simple techniques are meant to help make each day more beautiful and enjoyable by gracefully overcoming the obstacles in life. Marie Helena provides encouragement to start each day by choosing to look for things to appreciate.
Marie Helena found inspiration from the taxi drivers in Ireland. They were kind and joyful people, and they enjoyed pleasant conversation. She now looks for that “Irish sparkle” in every person that she encounters. She also overcame an annoying clanging that interrupted her sleep, while she was visiting her daughter, Rachel, with the clever use of her imagination. The author also suggests imagining every person with wings. All people, happy people, sad people, even angry people have wings in her mind’s eye. Every person that you encounter is carrying a message for you, it is their divine assignment.
This book is an enjoyable short read. Marie Helena effectively conveys the importance of indulging in the simple pleasures of life. Furthermore, she provides encouragement to focus on the positive aspects of any situation or person rather than the negative aspects. I am impressed with Marie Helena‘s ability to analyze many of her experiences and take away positive life-changing lessons. However, I’m not sure that all of the techniques discussed in the book will work for me. Still, I am a firm believer in finding ways to help cope with the struggles of life, and I can see how these ideas could benefit many other people.
This is a well-written and well-organized book. Marie Helena’s writing is much like poetry with her magical use of metaphors and references to the beauty of nature. Her expert use of descriptive language creates a pleasurable reading experience. The editing of this book was perfectly done. There were no mistakes to be found.
I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. The stories that the author shares are quite entertaining. Moreover, I found inspiration in the lessons she has learned from these experiences. Anyone in need of positivity would enjoy and benefit from this book.

about but your review was so nicely detailed that this one interests me. I think if an author can take the small things of life and weave them into a learning situation, that is a gift. Sounds like a good book to read.
