Good review. From the review I tend to understand that this confessional biography tends to speak on emotions , sexuality and family life . This alone has hastened my curiosity on the connection of Simon emotional state to his sexual life . Am definitely reading this . Great review once again.

A rather harsh story that explicitly expresses traumas and the search for self-acceptance. The narrative of sexual violence and the rawness of the story is too much for me, so I'll pass. However, this book can be an interesting resource in the right hands. Thanks for this interesting review.

The title of the book seems very metaphorical. I think there's more to the title than meets the eye. I'm sure people who had a traumatic childhood could relate to the author no matter what their sexuality is. Congratulations to the author for BOTD!

Simon is a very complex character. I'm not a fan of explicit material. I hope the writer finds peace. Thanks for your review.

Thank you for your wonderful review. I'm happy that you enjoyed it so much. While I like some memoirs, I think the explicitness of this story might turn me off. Other parts will probably be difficult for me to read. So I'll pass on this one and let others really enjoy it.

From a sampling, this was an interesting biographical memoir about the emotional and relationship struggles that the author went through. It might be worth a second look, especially for those that enjoy memoirs. Well Done.

This story tells of a young boy named Simon who has a troubled childhood and is bullied by the other children at school. He questions his sexuality. The book deals with mature themes and is for adults only. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD.

You have given us such a raw, honest and heart-felt review. Thank you so much. Awesome job!!
I did enjoy what I read so far, but with knowing how much sexual content is in it, I won’t be reading any further.

Exploration of sexuality for youngsters can be a traumatic event. I admire the author's candour and courage which can help others in similar situations. The sample pages provoked a poignancy which evoked interest in reading the entire book. Your lovely review fueled the feeling. Congratulations to the writer.

Simon's life has a pinch of everything. I have to skip this book as my beliefs will contradict the book. LGBT groups will find this book soothing. Thanks for the review. Congrats on the BOTD!

This story is very bold. I have LGBT acquaintances, they have almost the same past as the author. I sympathize for that. I think that with this book, the readers can have an understanding and be able to respond to every problem that occurs more wisely.

This book sounds thought provoking to me because of the explicit contents and LGBT is not one of my interests, so I'll pass on this one. Thanks for this review.
Many books can inform you but there's only one that can transform you(The Holy Bible). Pls don't forget to drop a comment for this review. Thanks. :D :tiphat:
