Sophie's World Jostrain Gaarder

Has anyone read this book? I never took philosophy in school. This book is going to take me a long time to read, but I am really enjoying the accessible way the author has built in every possible worldview I have ever heard of in one book!

I am sure I will learn a lot and I just wondered if anyone else liked this book.
It is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay. J.R.R. Tolkien

Yes, I read this about ten years ago. Can't remember much about it to be honest (apart from it being rather strange) but do remember that I liked it. Might have to get another copy and re-read.
