Review of Next 10
Are you in the business field or looking to start a business? Next 10 is the perfect book for entrepreneurs and people in business-related fields experiencing challenges in their businesses. The author of this book, Severin Sorensen, is a certified executive coach with over 8000 hours of coaching experience. He wrote Next 10 with the assistance of Amelia Chatterley to help business owners, key executives, and entrepreneurs grow and better their businesses.
Next 10 is an easy book to read. It may be short, but it contains useful material for business executives. I like the straightforward and concise nature of Next 10. The author stuck to the topics and provided only relevant information. Next 10 contains lists of questions and useful information provided in groups of ten. The lists are supposed to help readers brainstorm ideas and solutions for their businesses. The questions are a compilation of the most frequently requested answers to questions that Severin Sorensen has encountered from people in business.
I like that the author categorized the lists according to topics. It makes it easier for readers to look up the specific areas they need assistance. The topics included in this edition of Next 10 include Coaching versus Executive Coaching, Mission, Vision & Values, Executive Leadership, People, Process, and Marketing and Sales. I also appreciate that the author added images throughout the book. Given the nature of Next 10, I think including pictures increases readability and makes it feel less like a textbook.
I will be giving Next 10 an overall rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I do not have anything negative to say about this book. Therefore, I see no need to deduct a star. I appreciate that Next 10 is a simple but impactful book. It is safe to say that this book is professionally edited. I did not find any errors whatsoever while reading.
Next 10 is perfect for CEOs, business owners, entrepreneurs, and key executives. I would also recommend this book to anyone considering starting a business. The questions can act as a guide for people who are thinking of starting their entrepreneurial journey. This book is a cheaper alternative for those who cannot afford to hire an executive coach. This book is not suitable for people looking for quick solutions. Its purpose is to aid people in making better decisions for their enterprises and companies. I also would not recommend Next 10 to people not in the business sector.

One of the strengths of "Next 10" is its practical approach. The author provides actionable advice and real-world examples that can be applied immediately to a startup. The book also emphasizes the importance of customer-centricity and building a strong team culture.
Another strength of the book is the author's writing style, which is engaging and easy to follow. The book is well-organized and structured, making it easy to navigate and find relevant information.
However, the book may not be suitable for readers who are looking for in-depth coverage of specific topics. The author covers a wide range of topics but only provides a high-level overview of each subject.
