Official Review: Stress, Belly Fat and Adrenal Fatigue

Post by darcyb123 »

[Following is the official OnlineBookClub.org review of "Stress, Belly Fat and Adrenal Fatigue" by Ross.]

The Belly Fat and Stress Solution addresses more than simply fat or stress. The author, Ross Craft, also calls it: The Stress Belly Fat and Adrenal Fatigue Solution. He researched and wrote this book while recovering from blindness and two terminal illnesses treated solely with pharmaceuticals. Stuck with extra belly fat he could not dispose of and fatigue once his drug treatment ended, Ross Craft was determined to fully recover, belly fat and all. This nonfiction book is the result of his research and personal success following the methods laid out in The Belly Fat and Stress Solution.

I found this book to be quite informative and interesting. The emphasis is on learning to live a healthy productive lifestyle while surrounded by the chaos that is too often the norm of our busy lives. Learning to eat in a manner which most efficiently feeds our cells, exercise, and deep sleep are the cornerstones of great health.

The introduction covers the symptoms of adrenal fatigue. Belly fat, morning tiredness, afternoon crash, cloudy brain, and unfulfilling sleep are just a handful of the problems caused by adrenal fatigue. I was especially drawn in as I realized I had nearly every symptom listed, yet no doctor had ever mentioned adrenal fatigue to me. Stress of any kind, whether of the mental, emotional, or physical type contributes to and compounds the fatigue. Obviously, we all deal with stress on a daily basis. Ross Craft gives suggestions for taking control of your stress, rather than allowing stress to rule you. Thinking positively, exercising, relaxing, doing things we enjoy and learning to reset our body rhythms are all ways we can begin to make changes. I was especially interested in his section on binaural beats, a way to use music and sound to regulate your body rhythm, helping you experience restorative sleep as well as a better balance in your energy level. He gives specific examples, such as CD's and MP3 downloads readily available on Amazon and other websites.

Too much coffee, junk food, etc. is bad for our bodies. Most of us know that, but continue to splurge and eat unwisely. Ross Craft does an excellent job explaining the how and why of their destructiveness. He encourages exercise, not excessively, but steadily, 15 minutes or so a day, remembering the importance of human touch, focusing on the positive, and preparing yourself for a rich, fulfilling sleep at bedtime.

There is simply too much information to cover in a review, but I would encourage anyone struggling with belly fat and fatigue to read this book and take the advice to heart. I have made some small changes, and am sleeping better after only 2 days. I thoroughly enjoyed THE BELLY FAT AND STRESS SOLUTION. I rate it a 4 out of 4 stars, for information, research, practical suggestions and good writing.
