This is a very interesting review. I am not a fan of hockey so I was unable to relate to this book when I sampled it, but I could feel that it was written with passion for the sport and deserves the top rating awarded by the reviewer.

Thank you for your great review. I am glad that it brought back such wonderful memories for you. Though I'm not a hockey fan, I have heard of some of the names that you mentioned. Also, I do like memoirs and sports stories. I believe I will add this to my list of books to read after reading your review.

I've always admired how enthusiastic Canadians are about hockey. This seems like an accurate and exciting book that digs into the sport, giving us insights from an eyewitness. I'll sample this book to see if it's something that I would enjoy reading.

I feel this book is mostly for fans of the hockey game. Since I’m not a fan, I’ll skip this. Thanks for your review!

Sounds like a treat for those who love hockey! I don’t know much about the sport, so I might skip this book. I would definitely be thrilled to read a book about IPL (cricket), if one is ever written! Congrats on the BOTD!

I loved how this reviewer has analyzed the cover page so much in detail. Their love for the sport is very evident throughout. Great review!

Well-written and thorough review. I’m not a huge hockey fan although I have watched a few games and I recognize most of the names mentioned in the review. Tempting to read just to get some of the stories behind the scenes of the greats like Gretzky.

Today's book is a memoir by a seasoned hockey analyst. The insights from the rink and beyond appear to give an extensive view of the sport and how it has changed over time. It appears to be an informative and entertaining resource for hockey enthusiasts.

The author of this fascinating book seems to be in a better position to share the stories about the NHL of Canada, and as a commentator, he brings liveness to the stories.

It's truly remarkable how sports can shape a person's childhood. I wholeheartedly agree with your point about hockey being brutal and not suitable for the faint of heart. I can only imagine the extraordinary interactions the author must have had, not just with the players but also with the passionate fans. If this book lacked even a hint of profanity, it would raise my doubts about the author's authenticity and understanding of hockey. Thank you for the review!

Hockey is not something I am interested in, so this book is not one I am interested in. I just do not understand what I could learn or the message behind this book is.

The author had an attractive language and sweet words that really brought back the sweet memories of Night club Hockey. It reminds me the skills I used to play hockey some years back.I love sports and now in love with the book.
