Thank you so much for the detailed review. A lot of people get scammed online on a daily basis, I even have a lot to learn myself. Sounds like something I should read.

I am definitely not a techie, and I doubt I ever will be. That is why I am seriously concerned about cybersecurity. Needless to say, I have been a victim of security fails. I hope the author's methodology will enable tech people to do their jobs better.

Very informative review! I am glad the author offers viable solutions and specific steps to implement in your work environment. I am also surprised he decided to use Doug as a specific negative example. I do not consent to this choice.

The author takes quite a unique approach in highlighting the importance of emotional intelligence for protection from cybersecurity threats. I love the premise and the timely nature of the book. Thank you for the analysis.

This is a very useful review, and after sampling this book I agree with the reviewer that the audience who can benefit from this book is much wider than purely ICT employees. Unlike the reviewer, I did not feel any harshness in the author's writing style but I was yet to read about Doug.

A great book that offers solutions to companies and organisations that have been victims of cyber insecurity. Companies and organisations have lost significant data and money because of cyber insecurity, and Christian Espinosa has figured out and provided a solution to end the insecurity issues in his book, The Smartest Person in the Room. Thanks to the step he provides in the Secure Methodology technique, which would really be helpful to many employers and employees. Congratulations on BOTD!

I don't think I'm the targeted audience for this book but I think I should be. I mean that everyone should be aware of cyber security. Great review.

If the author can really teach us the root cause of cyber insecurity, then this book is invaluable. The smartest person in the room will be a great read to anyone who are interested to know more about emotional intelligence.

People skills are important, in all aspects of life. The reviewer's comment that the tone of the book is rather harsh, surprised me. I agree that this is unexpected in a book about emotional intelligence.

A short and not very informative review, especially for someone like me who has very little knowledge regarding the subject matter of this book. Cybersecurity is not anywhere near my areas of expertise and I don't believe it will do me any good, but I understand how serious and valuable it will be for others, so congratulations on BOTD!

Christian Espinosa's 'The Smartest Person in the Room' brings a fresh perspective to the cybersecurity field, emphasizing the importance of people skills in combatting cyber threats. While it offers intriguing insights, keep in mind that this isn't a technical guide; it's more about fostering effective communication and empathy in tech roles. Congratulations on being BOTD!
