Well done for this review but I am not a fan of books related to issues as this.

I am looking forward to this one. I recently reviewed another book on the same matter and it was refreshing to find yet another one. And I shall be blindly lying if I didn't mention the reason for my pique interest: it is your review. It is crisp and clear. I lost myself reading it. I was thoroughly satisfied if that's the right word. Thank you for your fabulous job. Keep it up.

I am feeling a bit skeptical about the teachings of this book. I don't think Jesus was just one of the many spiritual masters, but other aspects of this book might be interesting nevertheless. Besides, I like to challenge my thinking and beliefs. I might read this just for that reason... :) Thank you for the thorough review!

I'm coming across these thought for the first time. Well Weldon for your amazing review but for me, it's not a subject for descusion, again, I respect other's belief. Jesus Christ is and remains the Master of all and His sacrifice have redeemed man from sin and slavery. Hallelujah.

This is a useful and insightful review! I have sampled a few pages, and I agree with the reviewer that this book takes an uncommon perspective challenging the role of Judas as the betrayer of Jesus Christ. I agree with the reviewer that this book was immaculately edited and well-researched too, and that it needs an open-minded reader to appreciate Wahler's thesis on the role of Judas. For me, as an Anglican, this is hard to accept but I appreciate the value of Wahler's work as it may reconcile the concepts of Christianity with Judaism.

Good job on a great review! I was raised Catholic but have grown to question a lot of the teachings and practices of the Catholic faith. I really don't think that I will be reading this book.

Religious books do not appeal to me.
I still believe that there's more to religion than Meets the eyes. Too many conflicting ideas.

An interesting take on the relationship presented between Jesus and Judas. While this is not my type of book, I think some would find this really interesting.

Very thorough and interesting review - I am curious about the authors comparison of first century A.D. Judaism to Gnosticism and other Eastern modes of thinking. This review makes me want to see if there is any validity to the author’s claims, or if he is reaching - great job!

Not being familiar with the Eastern mysticism, I am fascinated with the review as presented. It gives alternative possibilities but makes more sense in some ways with the number of outstanding prophets that we are aware of in present day. Due to the amount of research done here, I find the review and sample to be a thought provoking perspective which is worth exploring.

There are so many different views and theories on different subject-matters that anything could be possible. I choose to remain objective on many of them unless substantial proofs surface. Thank you for an excellent review. Congratulations on winning BOTD.

This book will definitely welcome a lot of debate. I'm not interested in theology and I don't read non-fiction, so I'll pass on this book.

Regardless of the points raised in the book I still remain unshaken on the matter of Jesus and Judas. Your review was awesome.

I am not a religious person by any means, and even though I read the review about the book I am still skeptical about the religious format. I won't pretend that I am, but the review did make some interesting points. The review was awesome, but I'll definitely have to pass on this book.
