Wow, what a story! A man on the brink of financial ruin takes a gamble to make fast money in a highly illegal way. I'm not sure whether to applaud the author for having the nerve to turn it into a gripping adventure tale, or to castigate law enforcement agencies for allowing this obnoxious drugs trade to flourish.

Initially on reading the review, I thought this book is fiction. But the real life adventures of sea and smuggling....should definitely be given a chance. Really looking forward to reading it. Thanks for the review!

This review is thorough and hits the high points of the biological work. Giving the reader hints of what is to come. Even going so far as to give a sinopsis of the book.

Good review. I am not a big fan of the seas, although I wonder which part of the protagonist's adventures were the most difficult: smuggling the hashish or sailing troubled water?

This is definitely something I would take a chance on reading just by this review. There is obvious action within the book, the awe inspiring fact that it is a true story, and the well described captivating storyline.

This is absolutely an amazing book. Sometimes things doesn't go the way we thought; things can just changed without our prior notice. Anyways, I hope Pierce gain his financial freedom.
One could see that he isn't lazy, he also produce music alongside his love for sailing. Man must survive!

I like this review, well detailed. Congrats on BOTD!

It's interesting to see an author who have common interests and loves the sea and how he faces trouble at sea fearlessly.

Three Strike Runner" by Pierce Everett is a mesmerizing memoir that truly captivated me. I found myself immersed in Pierce's extraordinary life journey, from his sailing adventures to the daring hashish smuggling escapade. It's a story that's both thrilling and heart-wrenching, filled with moments of incredible perseverance. What struck me the most was Pierce's candid storytelling; it felt like he was sharing his tales with me personally. This book offers a glimpse into an adventurous life, and in Pierce's own words, he's 'wiser but not.' A must-read for anyone who enjoys real-life adventures and compelling narratives.

"Three Strike Runner" by Pierce Everett is about the author's life. Born after the Second World War, the author was intertwined with adventures. I liked that the author has preferences for music and sailing, but also for construction business.
