The books seems to be very interesting and with a a strong message. The importance of impacting sexual education and the fact the humans make mistakes is the central theme, and I am very curious how the author will develop it during the book.

The memoir is a source of female empowerment. It inspires people to become survivors rather than victims of adversity.

I just read the sample on amazon and the review and it sounds really interesting. Like many stories from real life, this one offers a look into the depths of those sides that usually remain hidden. I often wonder how people who have experienced such abuse can overcome it and even emerge stronger. It seems, like this is one of the books which shows such a strong will and give hope to others.

The way you described those early negative experiences shaping Penny's self-perception so vividly presented the book's main message about breaking free from the traumas of the past. Thank you for the wonderful review.

Penny is a heroine and a great role-model. Her story may inspire others not to give up on themselves. Her trauma's started as a toddler. She endured them and navigated various ways to survive. She is now in her 90th year. She has had time to make sense of her traumas and possesses a wealth of wisdom. Her story is a must-read. :techie-studyinggray:

Congrats on BOTD!
By sharing her story with the reader, Penny is assisting those who have experienced similar pain in healing themselves. She contrasts the restricted, taboo world of sex in her upbringing with today's liberated sexual society, yet abuse both inside and outside of her family left her emotionally "all at sea." Here, she talks about her healing.
