This is a very well thought out review for this book. It sounds like a book that I might find interesting. It will be interesting for sure to read this book and see Thailand through the author's eyes and how she came to love it and choose to move there and become a part of the world there.

Thank you for sharing your review with us!
The book does, toward the end, begin to feel a little preachy.
^ & Thank you for that forewarning. I love seeing honesty in reviews!!

I also live in Thailand and am interested in hearing what the author has to say about it. My only concern is that it will be too poetic and not based on reality because living in a foreign country is not as poetic as some might think!

I'm living in Thailand and so hours ahead. Your day is my night! Thank you for all the congratulations and great good cheer! And if there's one lesson I keep on learning here...it's that life can be sweet if we remember to simply acknowledge each other and smile!

bluemel4 wrote:Beautifully written review. I like that the author was able to find a creative way to share their passion for Thai culture and Buddhism. The story sounds inspirational and educational. I don't think I would be brave enough to pick up everything and move somewhere that was so jarring and culturally shocking. Congratulations to the author on the great review!

Excellent Review

Thank you....I appreciate your words. It is love that has fueled me. Both in staying with the writing of the book for a number of years until it "felt" right, and also in moving here and still being here!
