It looks like an inspiring story of living with a disability and not being pressured into making decisions but rather choosing your own way. Thank you for your review!

Does this book narrate about her disability or encounters with her Personal Care Attendants (PCAs)? This is the uniqueness of this book. How from her situation, she could have an interesting story to tell.

Adding "Helpers Anonymous" by Jeanne Tiberio, narrated by Ashley Gatti, to my listening list! Jeanne's journey from health to living with Muscle Dystrophy is inspiring, showcasing her resilience against bullying and drug abuse. While the narration lacked catchiness, the stories of her encounters with PCAs were both shocking and captivating. Rating it 5 out of 5 stars for its motivational message and valuable life lessons. Can't wait to dive into this memoir! 🎧📖

The book combats preconceived notions surrounding both people with disabilities and those struggling with addiction, fostering a more nuanced understanding of both groups.

I'm quite reluctant to listen to audiobooks whose narration is plain and quite monotonous. I hope the author will correct that mistake. Thank you for your honest review.

The memoir provides an insightful look into the relationships between people with disabilities and those who provide care for them.  It also highlights how the government system operates in terms of supporting people with disabilities.
