Great opening to the review. It is astute. I particularly like the 'self-imposed prison of thoughts' characterisation. I don't agree with the one truth business though. But it bodes well for the book that the author draws from philosophical thought.

I always believed that we view things in a similar way. However, after much reading and exposing myself to knowledge, I came realize that is not the case. Great review

I feel this book could be very helpful to get a better understanding of the present moment i.e. "now". Thank you for the review!

What a thought-provoking book this is. Life generally comes with lots of experiences and what we make out of it depends on our thoughts and how we see life. I specifically love the part of this review that emphasized the need to personally connect with the creator of this life who is God; he alone can guide us through life. Congrats on the BOTD.

I love this analysis, "Anger and guilt come from memories about the past. Fear and worry come from imaginings about the future. Peace and Perfection come from resting completely in The Present." that is in the book.I agree with it.

What i understand from this book is that our minds work differently. We view the world from different perspectives and sometimes there is distortion. I love the wrintings in this book. All the things he has talked about from anger to fear seem true. Congratulations to BOTD!

I agree with focusing on the present. The past is gone. The future is uncertain. Only the present is real. But I don't think I can read a book that overthinks that concept. Philosophical musings tire me.

Just from reading this review, it seems this book would be deeply philosophical. I will pass on this one as I am not a fan of philosophical books. It over works my brain. All the same, great review.
