I felt sorry for David. Because of his friends he had to start drinking to belong. It is an emotional story but I'm happy he was able to get a job and start a family. I would read this someday. Thanks.

What a heartbreaking story! I just know tears will be shed while reading this book.

This review raised my interest and made me add it in my bookshelves right away. I hope it will have an optimistic conclusion which he’ll find peace and happiness he deserve. Can't wait to read it. :D

This sounds like a plotline of a coming-of-age novel and it is heartbreaking to understand that it all was the author's real-life experiences. I really hope he found himself in the end. And the promise of a unique writing style makes this book all the more tempting to me. Thank you for your nice review!

It sounds like he had such a rough time of being adopted. I hope that the process of writing his story down helped him achieve more inner peace and balance and I really want to hear that things turn out better for him later on! I'll have to put this on my reading list. Nice review!

Great review. Imagine not being able to fit in from a very young age and being misunderstood alot. This seems like an interesting book.

Hey, this review has got me hooked! The book "Parallel Universes" by David B. Bohl seems like a powerful and impactful read. The author's openness about his struggles with alcoholism and feelings of not belonging really struck a chord with me. It's impressive how he shares his story with honesty and transparency. The reviewer mentions that the book is well-edited with only a few minor errors, which is great. I'm really curious to find out how David's journey unfolds and whether he finds resolution. I appreciate the reviewer's recommendation for anyone dealing with alcoholism or simply enjoys memoirs. Definitely adding this book to my reading list! Compelling storytelling, skillfully woven and compelling.
