Even after reading the review twice over carefully, I am still confused by the purpose of this book. I gather it is something in between travel notes and a journey of self-discovery, but how exactly can the growth of one person help the other? Apologies, but I simply don't get it and therefore will have to pass the book. Still, congratulations on BOTD!

This sounds like a book where the author begins a journey to answer profound questions about life through traveling around the world: Would the trips reveal the desired answers?

By looking at review, synopsis of the book indicates that it's story about human evolution, his never ending questioning ability, searching for answer thrist. It's probably gives dimensions for human nature.

I appreciate your honest and detailed review of Escape To Paradise and Beyond. It's interesting to hear how the author's matter-of-fact writing style initially made it challenging to connect with the story but eventually drew you in with its depth and relatability. The book's format, with its chapters and subheadings, seems to enhance its readability, especially by breaking down the author's global experiences. Your insights about the book's ability to prompt self-reflection and the minor criticisms not detracting from your overall enjoyment are compelling. Thank you for sharing your perspective!

I completely agree with your assessment of the author's matter-of-fact writing style. While it may initially feel detached, it's encouraging to hear that you found yourself drawn into the narrative as the book progressed. Your experience underscores the importance of giving a story time to develop, especially one as rich and layered as this.

I wonder what led to such inadequacy and restlessness. I find this book's overview to be interesting and I would love to know the results of research. Congrats on BOTD

The author travelled to multiple countries to combat his feelings of inadequacy, stagnation, and loneliness. He documents his adventures in this book, and shares nuggets of wisdom that he picked up along the way. The highlight is a spiritual awakening in Southeast Asia.

Thanks for your honest review. The narrator writing style is unique in it own way even though the beginning of the book is slow. Cheers!

I can definitely recount the numerous instances where one can write about something while missing that personal touch that readers often look for, especially in memoirs and nonfiction books. I am happy that Dasa ensures the book can inspire the reader to step back and take a look at their own lives from a different angle.
Many, many thanks for the review! :tiphat: :tiphat: :tiphat:
