Every day the world grows wider, and the role of everyone in it becomes more complicated. Employees used to go to work and then go home to live their personal lives. Technology has brought work home and left employees overwhelmed. You carry your work with you everywhere, and it becomes more difficult to create balance. It leads to burnout, or at least to you living a hard life. In Mindfulness as an Employee by Olivia Williams, you get help to be aware of what's going on with you in your work life and how to achieve the best in it. The best here means you are performing at your best while keeping your energy levels high and finding your own time and space. It shows how you can find peace in the journey as you spend most of your time at work and how to avoid complications.

My favorite thing about this book is how it is structured. It's clear and divided into chapters and subchapters. Each has an explanation of what will be discussed and a conclusion at the end. The chapters are short and direct, without unnecessary fillings. The book discusses an important topic because work environments can be really stressful and people get lost in the routine. We don't really have a choice about how the world is working nowadays, but at least we can try some effective coping mechanisms.

I didn't notice anything I disliked about the book. It received exceptional editing. I didn't notice any errors or mistakes. The conclusion at the end sums everything up and shows the message of the book. The good structure also makes it easy to get back to any point discussed throughout the book. For all of the above, I rate Mindfulness as an Employee by Olivia Williams five out of five stars. I recommend the book to all employees who are having a hard time mentally during their everyday jobs. It can help you focus more on here and now and be always aware of where you're standing and where you're going. I believe it's good to stop every now and then for some insights into both personal and professional lives.

This sounds like a really good book to read! Like the reviewer mentioned, life as an employee can get very mundane and repetitive, and it can also be hard to draw the line between work and leisure. I appreciated the clear and succinct review, and look forward to reading this soon!

As the topic of workplace burnout is getting more and more relevant today, this book is a must-read for anyone who doesn't feel valued in the workplace. Establishing boundaries between professional and personal life is crucial for well-being.
