The f*ck it diet by Caroline Dooner
Caroline is an amazing role model to anyone who has struggled with diets from her teens. At the age of fourteen she started trying out diets in response to her tight that did not fit anymore. She tried Atkins diet, South Beach diet, insulin resistance diet,pH diet , raw vegan diet, Rosedale diet and many versions of the Pray to God to be skinny diet.
This carried on for an entire ten years until ofcourse the age of twenty four. Staring at the mirror she finished, twelve sugarless almond flour cupcakes and nine pancakes, that obviously no one would eat. This was when it all dawned to her. Cutting down on foods that are essential to her Will not make her happier.
Throughout the book she changes the search from a diet frenzy to seeking and finding for herself something more meaningful. Happiness. She decided to eat more than she should, crave for whatever she wanted and satisfied her long term relationship of diet with more food to make her feel better. Did it work ? Was she happier in the end? There's more in the book .
I enjoyed this read . As a young woman I do resonate to these societal norms and what their standard of beauty is. We are all different and nothing in our skin , weight or intelligence can make us less of a woman. Society and it's expectations of us is truly detrimental and this book is a wake up call that eating does not kill.
I found no fault in the book . It was by far flawlessly written. The tone is vibrant and brings us to understand the authors understanding throughout her journey. A 5 out of 5 . I also love the fact that it is not bias as to who can read it. I would encourage even children in puberty experiencing the same, should tackle the book.

The book is called " The f*ck it diet " written by Caroline Sooner. Wow! I exercise as lot and I have always felt its a way to avoid controlling my diet. That was when I was younger. After breastfeeding I don't look the same and exercise is harder. Maybe I need to change my diet. Thank youAdaboo wrote: ↑10 Jun 2024, 09:04 I will like to have the book title and author. I have learnt about diet and noticed 90% of so called dis-eases is based on our diets. As at now, I'm plant base. You may want to argue about animal protein which I'm fine for that cuz a lot of people are asleep the damage animal protein does to us. I try the best to eat fruit and vegetables. That's me.

Thank you .I will most definitely try it.Adaboo wrote: ↑10 Jun 2024, 12:18 Exercise doesn't burn as fast as fasting. And it doesn't come closer to fasting. There are many fasting procedures. There's fasting on herbs and fasting on fruit. Fasting on water and fasting on H3O2. If you don't fix the diet but still exercise, by the way, you won't lose weight. Stop eating anything processed sugar. You can do further research.
